Praise & Worship songs dominate this album project, as Lexi pulled many of the songs contained on the project from the collection of songs she has performed at her church, Dunamis Outreach Ministries in Detroit , Michigan . "I owe a lot to Fred Hammond. Fred challenged me while I was a college student to dedicate my life to Christ and invited me to begin attending church at Dunamis. There, I began singing with the Praise Team and met my husband, Mike, who was minister of music at the church."

 The first radio single, "He Got Up!" gives a message of hope for all of us through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Lexi shouts in praise that the Lord is alive and victorious and defiantly asks "Death, Where Is Your Sting?" The lyrics of this song are central to the message of the album and reveal the essence of Lexi's ministry: "This song gives a voice to my message that I am at war with the enemy and that none of us have to die because Christ suffered and sacrificed for us.
