I'm Doing The Right Thing With the Wrong Man is an urban black stage play that looks into the relationship between Lexus Franklin and her husband of six years, NFL coach Marcus Franklin. As Marcus finally overcomes the struggles of his profession, he hits pay dirt signing a $50 million contract -- the biggest of his career. Although he's finally gained the respect and money he feels he deserves, he's neglected his wife and marriage. While some might think that $50 million would be the answer to the Franklins' problems, Marcus and Lexus soon discover the folly of this notion, and Lexus finds it difficult to maintain her sanity. Lexus begins to wonder if she is doing the right thing but with the wrong man.  She realizes that dreams come true, but with unfortunate consequences.
