The Corner HBO Mininseries depict the life in the inner city. The Corner follows one family for one year from their ghetto apartment to their interaction with a neighborhood plagued with drug trade and violence. This HBO miniseries stars. Sean Nelson (FRESH) stars as a teenage boy who struggles to fight off street life pressures. His parents (played by Khandi Alexander and T.K. Carter) are of little help, as they work hard to bring a steady income and a sense of normalcy, but coninually fail. This Corner won numerous Emmys including Outstanding Miniseries and Outstanding Direction for Charles S. Dutton.
